October 5-9 Workdays

Bruce touches up the paint before we lay the decking

Bill & Lance cut steel for the tunnel portals

Final prep work was completed for the big cement pours (three). Bruce & Bill scrambled to get all forms and steel secured in place to make the pumper truck visit as efficient as possible.

Teams showed up on extra work days to get the forms in place and then strip the forms soon after the cement was poured. The 5.5 yard (total) pours were almost anti-climatic due to great planning and prep work. Per Bruce, 5.5 yards = ~330 60# sacks.

Be sure to watch the three videos below; thanks to our videographer Matt.
