Kevin completed track layout at the trestle loop
Sounds familiar but, ballasting work was the big priority today. Kevin laid out and connected the final track panels in the caboose loop today. Ballasting at the loop was immediately begun by Bruce. A soft open is planned for the September run day with a golden spike ceremony scheduled for after lunch on 10/23.
Lance installed a new control box for the redwood tunnel signals. The lights within the tunnel were relocated to increase their visibility. As Kevin installed the caboose loop’s track panels Russ installed the last required isolator block.
