Russ replaced some bolts to help with attaching a few special wooden joists where the bridge sections meet (above). The other wooden joists were added last week. After these last special wooden joists are added, hopefully next week, we can begin attaching the wooden planks/decking to the surface (actually to the wooden joists.) The decking work will start while we are also still completing the frabracation and installation of the final bridge section
This week: we also poured cement for the leftmost arch’s grade beam, and Kevin & Bruce also completed some survey work and Kevin inventoried the switches needed for the Lumber Camp Loop. To see this work and more click and swipe through to the photos below.
